As a surface pattern designer it’s good for me to get out in the field and see what’s out and about in the high street. It’s a nice excuse to do some window shopping and find some lovely things too!

I love visiting farm shops, they always have lovely home and gift wear that your not likely to see on the regular high street. Designers and artists like: Alex Clark, Ulswater Weavers, and Michel Design Works.

My favourite farm shop locally is Medieval Ulnaby, it’s packed full of design delights. I snapped some of those on my last visit and bought two notebooks for myself, I couldn’t resist!
