Hey guys! Unfortunately Pear Dust didn’t get accepted into the competition I entered it. But that’s okay as I’ve now got a short story I’m proud of which I’m going to self-publish myself! This week I’ve been working on a short sci-fi romance called Hologram Dolphins. Enjoy the snippet! Comments are always welcome 🙂 ~*~… Continue reading Friday Snippets – Hologram Dolphins

Friday Snippet – God Slayer

March 9, 2012 Ruth Ellen Parlour4 Comments

This is a piece of dialogue from the first draft of my current WIP God Slayer. It’s far from perfect as it stands. ‘I want to join Wolfpack,’ I said. The General looked at me, smirked then laughed. It was a mocking laugh that shook his whole body. I waited. ‘What makes you think I… Continue reading Friday Snippet – God Slayer

I've had bunnies as pets since I was a little girl I've had bunnies as pets since I was a little girl and I never lost interest in them like a lot of children do, I always had time for them to play, cuddle, feed and clean. Rabbits will always have a place in my heart so it was only appropriate to star them in my submission to the @makeitindesign #summerschool trend brief #countryset with a nice #tartan backdrop. I tried to capture their cheeky personality by having them serving through the threads.
